The screen is divided in 6 different areas

The header: the site name the functions buttons (sitemap, feedback, …) the date of the day a hyperlinked « braidcrumb trail » allowing you to know where you are in the site structure and to surf to upper sections a jump to solvay specific sites scrolling menu   The search tool: a search entry where you can either search on all the solvay sites only or on the site you are actually on

• the site content, linked sites menu and sub-menus belonging to the site you are actually on and links to close related sites
• the site services (contacts, mailing lists, library, image gallery, useful links, Solvay addresses and glossary)

The banners (on the right-hand side):

The banners allow you to easily go to information or find tools that the site proposes you.
They are not systematically present on every page of a website.

The footer:

• the solvay privacy policy
• the solvay disclaimer
• the email link to contact the site webmaster  
• the date of last update of the page you are on
