Fakuma 2026 - Benvic to Demonstrate New Horizons for Thermoplastics
Innovative materials, circular solutions, and technical expertise for demanding applications.
The 2026 Fakuma exhibition, to be held in Friedrichshafen from Oct 12 to Oct 16, will be a clear opportunity to demonstrate Benvic's new capabilities for thermoplastic applications in challenging environments.
As a leading compounder, Benvic consistently supports customers with bespoke formulations at effective cost, positioning it as a leader in the PVC compound market.
For years, Benvic has been developing on top of its PVC base business new capabilities to meet the new challenges given by the inclusion of recycled content for durable and engineering applications. Following its acquisition of the PP and TPE engineering and manufacturing unit in Ferrara, Benvic is not only carrying over applications for such polymers but is also developing capabilities to deliver grades with post-consumer recyclates to meet the new ESPR and ELVR regulations. Our approach to bespoke formulations is to develop matching solutions from PCR feedstocks to meet the specifications. This enables clear, pragmatic, and cost-effective solutions for automotive, electrotechnical, E/E, and fluid management.
Turning Recycled Content into High-Performance Materials
The Benvic know-how is proving PCR-based plastics by overcoming significant limitations associated with mechanical recycling, the most costly and environmentally damaging process. Our expertise in sourcing various PCRs for characteristics and security aligns material characteristics with performance requirements. This allows us to deliver effective solutions for colour matching, odour emission, impact resistance and many other challenges.
Processability is another key focus. Process stability and efficiency are crucial to achieving efficient production and reducing total manufacturing costs. Our PCR-based compounds are designed to ensure such stability and efficiency, making the difference inside the injection moulding machine. This ensures a smooth transition to new regulations for both designers and converters.
One Partner for a Wider Range of Sustainable Polymers
On top of that, Benvic can adapt its strategy to develop mechanically recycled compounds for other thermoplastics, extending its offering beyond PVC with new rABS and rPA solutions for the same market segments. Broadening our application range is also important for customers seeking to consolidate their supplier base through a pragmatic approach, rather than managing multiple suppliers, each specialising in a limited range of polymer grades.
Beyond material development, Benvic supports customers end-to-end by quantifying environmental benefits, evaluating the best solution through cradle-to-gate life cycle assessments, and validating material choices with verified environmental performance data.
We will be pleased to share our experience and showcase application cases in Friedrichshafen this October. Meet our specialists at stand B3-3307 and discover how Benvic can help address your recycled content challenges for plastic parts.
