Expands its markets and horizons – 2023

Benvic, Europe’s leading compounder in PVC, polyolefins, thermoplastic elastomers and bioplastics is increasing its presence at 2023 trade shows – primarily in order to invite new and existing customers and territories to the company’s innovations and imaterial solutions.

Last year saw Benvic increase its exhibition presence in France (FIP) Wire and Cable (Germany) and the triennial K plastics show last October (Germany).

In February of this year,

Benvic Dotflex materials successfully debuted at the prestigious annual footwear show in Milan. The following month Benvic’s Spanish team presented the company’s latest innovations in Linkflex HF technology to the Wire and Cable event in Cologne, Germany.

In February of this year,

Next month,

May 10-11, now sees Benvic travel to Amsterdam to exhibit at the Plastics Recycling Europe Show there and to take part as an PRSE award finalist on the second day of the exhibition.

Recycling activities and (re)compounding activities are both key to Benvic in order to ensure reliably engineering materials for its customers within the emerging circular economy.

Benvic‘s recycled material solutions are primarily developed around PVC compounds which has been the heart of the business for more than 50 years. The integration of new recycling solutions for such compounds is set to create more value for such materials. Diversified products in other polymers will also be presented by Benvic during the Amsterdam show.

In May 23-26 Benvic will next exhibit at Plastpol, Kielce, Poland - to exhibit in that market, and to introduce and promote its materials further in Central Europe.

Synergies between Benvic’s PVC compounds and its other product lines such as DotCore (PP), DotFlex (TPE) and Linkflex (HFFR compounds for cables) will be presented at Plastpol and illustrated with application examples. The primary aim is to develop Benvic as the one-stop-shop provider for polymer compounds in Central Europe, mainly for building, cable and fluid management products.

Thanks to its recent product diversifications -  Benvic will also exhibit at the prestigious Fakuma plastics show for the first time – Friedrichshafen, Southern Germany, October 17-21, 2023.

The Fakuma event is typically injection moulding based and will therefore give Benvic an ideal opportunity to promote the company’s Xtended polymer compounds, consisting of the product families DotCore (PP), DotFlex (TPE) and Dotech (PA, PS, PBT) as well as Benvic’s biobased Plantura range.

This first showing of Benvic at Fakuma is proof of the company’s ability to focus beyond PVC on a growing variety of material solutions for customers, and to anticipate and support these customer needs in the market challenges that will lie ahead.

There is no doubt that the plastics sector will faces many such challenges in the coming months and years: use restriction, environmental performance, microplastics, banned substances, recycling and bio factors. All of these upcoming issues mean that polymer compounding expertise will be needed like never before. Benvic’s first outing at Fakuma 2023 will give the company the ideal space in which to demonstrate and discuss these factors in detail with its plastics processing customers.
