Visit Benvic at Wire 2026 - custom solutions for cable makers
Four new and innovative grades of cabling material will be exhibited by Benvic - Europe’s leading polymer compounder - at Wire 2026, Düsseldorf Trade Messe, April 13-17.
Innovative Cable Compounds
Two of these materials – HFB 06 and 08 – now join Benvic’s growing family of bedding compounds. Meanwhile HFX012 HFFR is a crosslinkable compound designed primarily for insulation for energy cables. And HFX017 HFFR is ready as a sheathing compound for marine cables, with oil resistance and good flame retardancy.
The new Benvic grades form part of a continuous process of product development from the Benvic Montornes cable compound facility, Barcelona, Spain. The cabling team there is vital to Benvic’s success and service in this marketplace.
The impact of the EU’s new Construction Products Regulations (CPR) is also a major accelerant for innovation in the sector.
Dani Calveras, Benvic R&D, W&C Director Europe leads the company’s presence at the Düsseldorf show: He notes that "CPR compliance, health and safety, detailed flame-retarded properties and processability at optimum cost are now all key 101 drivers for the industry."
"The unique Benvic difference however – and the primary reason to visit us at Wire 2026 - is our ability to get alongside customers in their factories and develop and optimise cable compounds that are exactly fit for manufacturing purposes. We don’t just deliver a material. We provide the complete cable manufacturing solution"

Benvic’s primary cable compounds
- Linkflex HFFR compounds (including cross linked and recycled options)
- ProVinyl PVC compounds – for electromobility and building
- Dotflex TPE (& TPR & TPS) compounds for cable and gasket applications
Benvic’s Linkflex HFFR innovations have been developed for applications in markets such as telecommunications, fibre optics, industrial, marine, mining, vehicles and energy transportation. The complete range now includes thermoplastic compounds for insulation, bedding and sheathing (internal and external) and covers the main requirements defined in international standards.
